Middle School Christmas Concert 2025

The sanctuary filled up fast, and by the time the lights dimmed, more than 400 family members and friends had gathered for our 2025 Middle School Christmas Concert. Ninety-eight students from across the middle school stepped onto the stage, ready to lead us through a night built on music, hope, and community. Events like this show exactly why families choose Sacramento Adventist Academy, because our students grow, lead, and serve together.

Key Takeaways
The 2025 Middle School Christmas Concert featured 98 students performing in choir, handbells, readings, and band.
More than 400 guests filled the Carmichael Church sanctuary for a night focused on faith, joy, and community.
Directors Nina Negretti, Vanessa Piersanti, and Ivan Rachath led a well-prepared, passionate group of students.

A Full Sanctuary and a Clear Purpose

The program opened with a welcome that set the tone right away. This night wasn’t only about performance. It was about slowing down, gathering as a community, and remembering why the Christmas season matters. The speaker talked about how moments like this remind us to connect, breathe, and celebrate our students and our Savior.

Families scanned QR codes for the digital program, snapped photos from the aisles, and settled in for an evening of music led by students who worked for months to prepare. The space itself, made possible through the support of our partners at Carmichael Church, created a warm and focused environment for the night’s performances.

Music That Carried the Night

From the opening congregational singing to the final piece, students took the lead. Handbells, choir, readings, and band each brought something distinct to the program. Every group delivered with confidence, shaped by the steady direction of Nina Negretti, Vanessa Piersanti, and Ivan Rachath.

The selections connected the Christmas story to the present, reminding everyone why this season inspires joy and reflection. Narrations added moments of calm and meaning between pieces, grounding the night in its purpose.

Behind the Scenes

One of the highlights of the evening was hearing the reminder that programs like this take countless small tasks to pull off. Valve oil. Reeds. Extra copies of music. Long rehearsals. Students hustling to memorize transitions and cues. Teachers guiding every detail.

The audience also heard about two community ministries that students and families are supporting this year. Carmichael Church’s Community Services program feeds more than 200 families weekly, and the upcoming Healing Hands medical clinic will offer free medical, dental, and mental health care this spring on our campus. Both reflect SAA’s commitment to service, one of our core values across student life.

A Closing Filled With Gratitude

The final piece brought the room to complete stillness. The choir and musicians ended the night with music that held the same sense of awe described in the Christmas story. When the last note faded, the applause filled the sanctuary instantly.

Administrators stepped forward to thank the students, their families, our pastors, and especially our three directors who continue to elevate the middle school music program. Watching students grow in confidence and musicianship is one of the gifts of SAA’s music program, and this concert made that clear.

Why Nights Like This Matter

The 2025 Middle School Christmas Concert was more than an event. It was a reminder of why our school community thrives. Students stepped up. Families showed up. Faith shaped the entire evening. And our campus partners helped us create a space where the meaning of Christmas could be felt without distraction.

Thank you to every student who performed, every parent who supported, and every teacher who guided. And thank you to every family choosing Sacramento Adventist Academy. You make nights like this possible.
