There’s nothing quite like the buzz of the first day of school at Sacramento Adventist Academy. The laughter spilling across the campus, hugs between friends reuniting after summer, and the excited steps of students walking into new classrooms—it all reminds us that each school year is a fresh chapter waiting to be written.
This year, Principal Matthew Jakobsons welcomed our students back with a message of purpose and belonging, reminding us that we are more than a school—we’re a family rooted in faith, learning, and community.

As we step into the 2025–2026 school year, we are reminded of our Schoolwide Learner Outcomes. From the very first day, students are encouraged to:
It’s not just about what happens inside the classroom; it’s about who our students are becoming.
We couldn’t do this without you—our families, friends, and supporting Seventh-day Adventist churches who stand behind the mission of Sacramento Adventist Academy. Your prayers, financial support, and volunteer hours shape a Christ-centered education that reaches far beyond textbooks. Thank you for making this possible.
We invite you to relive the excitement by watching our First Day of School 2025–2026 video below. It’s just the beginning!
Together, let’s make this year one of faith, growth, and joy.
