CARMICHAEL, CA – Sacramento Adventist Academy’s Girls’ Varsity Basketball team has secured a spot in the CIF SJS Championship after a decisive 53-34 victory over Sacramento Waldorf. This dominant win propels the team into the CIF SJS Division 6 Championship game, where they will compete for the title at Golden 1 Center on Thursday.
The Capitals showcased their depth and determination, with standout performances from key players. Bella Plesea dominated on both ends of the court, recording 14 points and 17 rebounds, her best shooting performance of the season at 54 percent. Mikayla Meza added 15 points and nine rebounds, solidifying Sacramento Adventist’s third consecutive playoff victory. Their defensive strength has played a crucial role in this postseason run, allowing opponents to score an average of just 28.3 points per game over their last three matchups.
