We believe every child is a unique, creative individual. We seek to nurture the intellectual, physical, social, and spiritual development of each child.

Program & Options

Our staff are committed to modeling the love of Jesus and the curriculum encourages children to learn through exploration and social experiences. Our classrooms are warm, caring and safe spaces for children to grow in confidence.

Pre-K Skills

Pre-K Skills – The curriculum is based on what local Kindergarten teachers are looking for to specifically prepare students to enter Kindergarten the following year. The skills taught are based on a child’s readiness and include but are not limited to the following,

Letter recognition
Sound recognition
Name recognition
Trace and/or write name
Numbers 1-20
Basic shapes and colors
Pencil and scissor control
Self help skills – coats and shoes

Enrollment Eligibility

Children ages 2 – 6 years of age may enroll. Being toilet trained is not a requirement for enrollment.

We employ nurturing, Christian, teachers. Our staff is dedicated to working as a team with the children, parents and colleagues to provide the optimum early childhood experience. All employees participate in continuing education opportunities and classroom preparation and maintenance. Our center director is an Early Childhood credentialed Teacher/Administrator. The support staff and teachers have varied levels of experience and education well above state standards. We also provide a low teacher-child ratio that offers more individualized attention in the classroom.

Sacramento Adventist Academy Early Childhood Education Center provides an environment filled with developmentally appropriate activities to cultivate the child’s intellectual, emotional, social, physical and spiritual development. Their daily activities help build and develop both gross and fine motor skills, life skills, and knowledge.
