The world around us can feel overwhelming at times. Between conflict, division, and uncertainty, it’s easy to lose sight of what matters most. But at SAA, we hold onto hope—a specific, unwavering hope in our Savior. This hope reminds us that today’s struggles are not the end of the story but part of a larger plan.
Through this hope, we are reminded daily of the values we live by: to know Jesus, embrace integrity, live a balanced life, and think critically. These values are the cornerstone of our mission and vision and serve as a guide for both students and staff alike. At SAA, we don’t just talk about hope—we live it.
At its heart, SAA is more than a school; it’s a family. It’s a place where people come together to support, encourage, and uplift one another. This sense of belonging extends beyond the classroom and into every aspect of life at SAA.
I am grateful not only to lead this community but also to be part of it as a husband, a dad, and a friend. Whether it’s through heartfelt worship at chapel or shared moments in the classroom, the connections we build here make SAA a truly remarkable place.
Our commitment to fostering a Christ-centered community is part of what makes us unique. This year, we’ve worked together to create an environment where everyone—students, staff, and families—can thrive. To learn more about how we’re achieving this, visit our mission and vision page.
While it might not seem obvious, struggles are one of life’s greatest teachers. At SAA, we see challenges not as roadblocks but as opportunities to grow. Whether it’s preparing for a choir performance, practicing for an upcoming basketball game, or working through a difficult math problem, perseverance is a value we instill in our students.
Our students are learning that growth comes through hard work and dedication. These lessons don’t just prepare them for academic success—they lay the foundation for spiritual and personal growth as well. For an inspiring example, consider how our music program has flourished this year. Through countless hours of practice, our students have excelled, showcasing their talents at school events and beyond.
This year has been one of growth and abundance for our community. With more students, families, and staff joining us, we’ve added diversity and depth to our school. These new faces bring fresh perspectives and enrich our community in countless ways.
We’re also grateful for the continued support of our volunteers and donors. Their generosity has helped us expand opportunities for our students, whether through new resources, enhanced programs, or vital scholarships. Every contribution makes a difference, and we couldn’t be more thankful. If you’d like to join in supporting our students, consider contributing to our year-end campaign. Every dollar is reinvested back into creating meaningful experiences for our students.
As we enter the holiday break, take a moment to reflect on the many blessings we share at SAA. From hope to community, from struggle to abundance, this is a time to celebrate the gifts God has given us and the ways we can share them with one another.
To our SAA family, thank you for making this school such a special place. Your faithfulness, generosity, and love create a foundation that will continue to support our students for years to come. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! May your holidays be filled with joy, peace, and the hope of our Savior.
