It’s time for the the 2025 Spring Pops Concert. Every spring, something kind of wonderful happens in front of the gym at SAA. The sun starts to set, families pull out folding chairs, someone hands you a cone of melting vanilla—and then the music begins.
It’s casual. It’s outside. And it’s packed with good music and even better community energy. Middle School kicks things off with Strings, Choir, and Band showing off what they’ve been working on all year. The next day the High School students roll in with their full lineup: Handbells, Orchestra, Band, Jazz Band, Choir, and Bel Canto—the same group that sang at Carnegie Hall this last April.
Quick rundown:
Where? Right out front of the gym
When? As the sun sets—perfect timing
What to bring? A lawn chair, maybe a blanket, and an appetite for ice cream
The music is a little bit of everything—show tunes, pop hits, a few classical pieces, and whatever else our students feel like tackling. It’s not stuffy. It’s not over-rehearsed. It’s just fun. And honestly? It’s one of the best nights of the year.
With the 2025 Spring Pops Concert in the books, you’ll leave with a smile on your face, a song stuck in your head, and maybe a few drips of ice cream on your shirt. Worth it.
